" The Healer in you "

I woke up this morning with my mother on my mind. She hasn’t been well for a while now. I called and asked her how she was feeling and she said she’s been feeling ill with a stomach problem. Keep in mind my mom’s from the generation that Doctors are viewed as God’s and every pill they prescribe she takes. I call this the “prescription trail “. I realize some are needed, But I believe most are over prescribed. Doctors are getting big kickbacks and making a lot of money selling you on these prescriptions. He told her she had a stomach virus and needed to drink flattened coca cola, Gatorade, white rice and some other white refined foods. I thought to myself, is this the best the medical system has to offer? I call it the medical sick system, a quick visit in their office and a prescribed pill. The sad truth is conventional Doctors have no experience with nutrition or lifestyle suggestions and most illness stems from both. There are many things making us sick these days. We’re dealing with stressors in our environment and their causing health problems. The stressors could be work, home life, pesticides, food toxins, emotional issues and lack of sleep and exercise. We’re at a point that as a society we need to take responsibility for our own health if we’re to thrive and live at our true potential. The truth is that you have an inner healer inside you, we all do! Let’s look at what is making us sick. Is it one or many stressors listed? The body wants to heal and your cell’s are continually regenerating with new life, feed your body and cells the good stuff! Stay clear from refined sugars, boxed “ dead food “, alcohol , cigarettes, eat whole organic food whenever possible, drink more water, get outside and enjoy a walk in the sun, go to bed earlier and get more sleep, avoid toxic relationships with individual’s that drain you of precious life energy called “ frenemies “, and find your joy. What do you love to do and do it more. The healer is within you!!! Isn’t it time to take responsibility for your own health and this precious life we’ve all been givin?
